Bishop McDevitt High School Celebrates 50th Anniversary
First Graduating Class, Students, and Community Come Together for Closing Ceremony Celebrated by Cardinal Rigali
WHAT: On December 9, 1958, Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote, Montgomery County, opened its doors to students for the first time. Now, 50 years later, the school will open its doors again to those same students in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will welcome alumni, distinguished guests and the school community for a celebration Mass.
