In 2006-07 TerraNova testing, Archdiocesan elementary students (grades 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8) scored an average of:
19.3 points above the national average on math;
21.1 points above the national average on math composite;
21.1 points above the national average on math computation;
20.6 points above the national average on language;
18.4 points above the national average on language mechanics;
20.7 points above the national average on language composite;
19.4 points above the national average on reading;
19.1 points above the national average on reading composite;
15.2 points above the national average on vocabulary
Archdiocesan students entering high school finished at least 11 points above the national average on all nine content areas of TerraNova testing in the last school year.
In 2006-07 TerraNova testing, Archdiocesan high school students scored an average of 16 points higher than the national average.
The top 33% of Archdiocesan students who took the SAT in 2005 scored 49 points above the national average in math, and 63 points above the national average in verbal.
The top 50% of Archdiocesan students who took the SAT in 2005 scored above the national average in both math and verbal.
52% of Archdiocesan students who take high school AP courses receive eligibility for college credit in that subject.
